Every Woman Every Child + Social Good

24 July 2013

Building on the momentum generated by marking the occasion of 1,000-days to the target date to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), a sustained communications effort is needed that synergizes relevant global initiatives and sector‐specific partnerships as part of the Every Woman Every Child (EWEC) movement while highlighting progress that has been achieved. This narrative will be particularly important at the 2013 UN General Assembly – tying together side events, report launches, and other advocacy conducted by EWEC partners.

The proposed July event seeks to leverage the +SocialGood platform by identifying new ways to incorporate the power of technology and new media to advance a common agenda for women and children’s health worldwide. Please note that the date of July 24 is currently tentative. Save the Date's for this event will be issued shortly.
